What's in a type?
Blog post description.

There are different ways throughout history that people have 'typed' or transferred letters onto another surface. They are:
Carving by hand with paints, inks, or tools
Handwriting by pen, pencil, or other colored writing tool
Typesetting with metal or wood on a stick
Letter pressing using ink to transfer from raised surface to paper
Typography using computers with software that is vector or raster image/text/graphic based
Lettering using chalk, crayons, colored pens or markers
Which ways have you used?
